Jessica Wirka has been promoted to Commercial Director at Crane Authentication. Based in Alpharetta, GA, Jessica will be leading our global sales team in customer and partner relationships.
An industry veteran with over 24 years of global experience, Jessica has worked with a multitude of brands across different industries to help shield products from nefarious activities, such as counterfeiting and diversion. Having worked in partnership with Crane Currency for a number of years, Jessica has always been a big proponent of Crane’s compelling Micro-Optic technology and is delighted to now join the team.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be the new Commercial Director at Crane Authentication. Having worked in global brand protection roles for more than 20 years, I have still never seen an overt security technology nearly as compelling and secure as Crane’s Micro-Optics. I’ve worked in partnership with Crane for many years and it seems very natural for me to help drive the growth we’re excited about,” Jessica said.
Jessica most recently comes from Authentix, where she was the director of brand protection, helping brand owners implement customized security solutions. Prior to this experience, Jessica worked at Crane partner Brady as Global Strategic Account Manager, selling brand protection labels to global brands. Her experience also includes working at UCB Films, which became Innovia and is now part of CCL, as well as Payne Security, which is now MM Packaging – a key Crane Authentication partner in the pharmaceutical industry.
Jessica has a bachelor’s in European Studies and Modern Languages from the University of Bath, U.K. A U.K. native who grew up in Germany, Jessica is bilingual in German and English, and fluent in Italian and French, having studied French at the Sorbonne, in Paris.
